Charles MacKenzie was an Ontario merchant and political figure. He represented Lambton West in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a Liberal member from 1889 to 1894. He was born in Dunkeld, Perthshire, Scotland in 1832, the son of Alexander Mackenzie, and came to Canada West with his family in 1842. MacKenzie apprenticed in the printing business with George Brown at Toronto before returning to Sarnia where he went into the hardware business with his brother John. MacKenzie married Agnes Youn
