text: Major-General Charles Harford Bowle-Evans, born Charles Harford Evans, was an officer in the Indian Medical Service. Bowle-Evans was the son of John Bowle-Evans. He was commissioned surgeon-lieutenant in the IMS on the Bengal Establishment in January 1894.
