The Changzhou Metro is a rapid transit system in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, China. The system started operation on 21 September 2019, with the opening of its first line, Line 1 becoming the 35th city in China with a subway in Mainland China. The Changzhou metro currently has Line 1 and Line 2 in operation, while Line 5 is still under construction. Announcements are made in Mandarin and English.
