Chander Prakash Wadhwa SM, VSM, is a senior Indian Army Lt. General who was Force Commander of MONUSCO, the United Nations mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He served from August 2010 until 31 March 2013. He joined the Indian Army in June 1973. From 1989 to 1990 he served as a military observer for the UNIIMOG mission in Iraq and Iran.
