text: The Château de Puyguilhem, also called Puyguilhem Castle, is a château in the commune of Villars in north of the Dordogne, France. Built between 1514 and 1535, the Renaissance style castle like that of the Loire castles was classified as a historical monument on 20 March 1912 and the grounds, woods, and outskirts were registered on 19 May 1945. It is owned by the state of France. It is open to the public.
