text: Central Mine Manager's Residence is a heritage-listed former residence, orphanage for Aboriginal girls and now nursing home administration building at Piper Street, South Broken Hill, New South Wales, in the state's Far West region. It was built in 1903. It is also known as St Anne's Home of Compassion. The property is owned by Southern Cross Care Broken Hill Incorporated. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 15 December 2006.
