text: Rafael Honorio Caupolican Ovalles Colmenares was a controversial Venezuelan writer. He belonged to the avant-garde period of the sixties and was influenced by French Surrealism and American Beatnik. He actively participated in literary and artistic groups of the time such as The Roof of the Whale and La República del Este, among the most known.
