text: Caulerpa papillosa is a species of seaweed in the Caulerpaceae family. The seaweed has a slender stolon with medium to dark green fronds reaching 4 to 16 centimetres in height and 2 to 5 millimetres wide. The species is found in shaded rock pools in the upper sublittoral region up to a depth of 12 metres (39 ft). In Western Australia, it is found along the coast in the Gascoyne and south as far as Esperance it is also found in South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.
