text: Catoryctis polysticha is a moth in the family Xyloryctidae. It was first described by Oswald Bertram Lower in 1893. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from South Australia. The wingspan is about 26 mm. The forewings are slaty fuscous with white markings outlined with blackish. There is a moderate streak along the costa from the base to beyond two-thirds posteriorly strongly attenuated and leaving the extreme costal edge fuscous towards the base.
