The Carp Lake River is a 10.5-mile-long (16.9 km) river in Emmet County, Michigan, in the United States. It is a tributary of Lake Michigan, joining it 5 miles (8 km) west of the Straits of Mackinac. It is fed by Lake Paradise. The Carp Lake River is one of only five locations in the world where the critically endangered Hungerford's Crawling Water Beetle has been found.
