text: Capo di Ponte is an Italian comune in Val Camonica, province of Brescia, in Lombardy. Located 362 metres (1,188 ft) above sea level, Capo di Ponte owes its name to an ancient settlement to the west of a bridge over the River Oglio which leads to a hamlet named Cemmo. The present comune is on the eastern side of the river.
