Camilo Torres Restrepo was a Colombian Catholic socialist revolutionary, an ordained priest, and a member of the National Liberation Army (ELN). During his life, he advocated for liberation theology by trying to reconcile revolutionary socialism and Roman Catholicism. His social activism and willingness to work with Marxists troubled some.
