Callabiana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Turin and about 4 kilometres (2 mi) northwest of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 139 and an area of 7.3 square kilometres (2.8 sq mi). Callabiana borders the following municipalities: Andorno Micca, Bioglio, Camandona, Gaby, Pettinengo, Piatto, Piedicavallo, Tavigliano, Vallanzengo. Callabiana is on the slopes of Monte Casto. The
