There have been two baronetcies created for persons with the surname Burke, both in the Baronetage of Ireland. As of 2014 one creation is extant. The Burke Baronetcy, of Glinsk in the County of Galway, was created in the Baronetage of Ireland on 2 August 1628 for Ulick Burke. The third Baronet was a politician. The title became extinct on the death of the thirteenth Baronet in 1909. Two of his younger brothers both gained distinction. Thomas Henry Burke was Permanent Under-Secretary at the Irish
