Bruce Frederick Edward Jenks OBE served as director of the Bureau for Resources and Strategic Partnerships of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) 1995 to 2009/2010. Jenks holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from Oxford University and Master of Arts degrees from Cambridge University and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, Washington, DC.
