There have been two baronetcies created for persons with the surname Brooks, both in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom: one creation is extant as of 2007. The Brooks Baronetcy, of Manchester in the County of Lancaster, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 4 March 1886 for the banker and Conservative William Cunliffe Brooks. He sat as member of parliament for Cheshire East from 1869 to 1885 and Altrincham from 1886 to 1892 and was also a great benefactor to the town of Sale.
