Boyton is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated close to the River Tamar and the border with Devon about six miles (10 km) north of Launceston. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 378.This increased to 457 at the 2011 census. Boyton is a rural parish which takes its name from Boia's Farm and is mentioned in the Domesday Book as Boitone.
