Borshchahivka is a neighborhood located to the west and south-west of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is part of the city's Sviatoshynskyi District. The neighborhood is named after a large village that was founded at the site. The contemporary urban look comes from the 1960s and 1970s. The neighborhood is divided into four sections: Mykilska, Mykhailivska, Bratska, and Pivdenna (South) Borshchahivka. The first three are former villages incorporated into Kyiv, while the last section was built in
