Božalość, also transliterated as Božaloshtsh or Bozaloshtsh is a messenger of death in Wendish mythology. The name was translated in German ethnographic sources as "Gottesklage" i.e., "God's Lament"). An 1886 article Das Spreewaldhaus by W. v.
