The black-chinned robin is a species of bird in the family Petroicidae. It is found in northern New Guinea. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Described by English naturalist, Philip Sclater, in 1874, the black-chinned robin is a member of the Australasian robin family Petroicidae.
