text: Biskupice is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Trawniki, within Świdnik County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) west of Trawniki, 20 km (12 mi) south-east of Świdnik, and 30 km (19 mi) south-east of the regional capital Lublin. In 1921, there was a Jewish population of 129 people. During the Holocaust, the town's Jewish population suffered tremendously.
