Elizabeth Cynthia Barr, later known by her married name Beth Isaak, is an American former competition swimmer for the University of Texas who was a backstroke specialist and 1988 Seoul Olympic silver medalist. Barr grew up in Pensacola, Florida, and competed in swimming as early as the age of six. She swam in the Junior Nationals at age 11 and 12, and at the age of 13, was selected to attend the Nationals at Mission Viejo, California.
