Beasley James Kearney was an Australian politician who represented the South Australian House of Assembly multi-member seat of East Torrens from 1930 to 1933. Elected for the Labor Party, he was expelled in the 1931 Labor split, but was readmitted to the party in 1932. Kearney was born at Wilmington, South Australia, and was educated at country schools. He became a blacksmith, then joined the South Australian Railways, where he initially worked as a railway porter. He passed the railway clerical
