Bayside Canadian Railway

title: Bayside Canadian Railway
text: The Bayside Canadian Railway was an extremely short railway in Bayside, New Brunswick, Canada. Its apparent sole purpose was to perform as a Canadian railway, to take advantage of a loophole in the Jones Act that would normally forbid the use of foreign-flagged vessels in shipping between two U.S. ports. Planet Labs satellite data from November 2022 has led to the suggestion that the railway was demolished.
