Barugo, officially the Municipality of Barugo, is a 4th class municipality in the province of Leyte, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 34,497 people. Residents of the town of Barugo are traditionally referred to as Barugonon but often incorrectly referred to as Barugueños.
