text: Baron Parmoor, of Frieth in the County of Buckingham, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 16 January 1914 for the lawyer and politician Sir Charles Cripps. He and his second wife, Marian Ellis, were anti-war activists. Two of his sons, the second and third Barons, both succeeded to the title. The third Baron was succeeded by his son, the fourth Baron. As of 2010, the title is held by the latter's first cousin, the fifth Baron, who succeeded in 2008. He is the grand
