Barkūniškis is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 55 people. It is located 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) from Krakės, 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from Ažytėnai, on the left bank of the Šušvė river. There is a former watermill, which was a part of Barkūniškis manor.
