text: The Banco Transatlántico, abbreviated in Spain during the second half of the 20th century as Bancotrans, was a bank originally established by Deutsche Bank in 1886 in Berlin as Deutsche Ueberseebank. The DUB was restructured in 1893 as Deutsche Ueberseeische Bank, and known in Spanish as Banco Alemán Transatlántico.
