Banaue, officially the Municipality of Banaue, is a 4th class municipality in the province of Ifugao, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 20,652 people. It is widely known as the site of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Batad Rice Terraces and Bangaan Rice Terraces. Banaue is 24 kilometres (15 mi) from Lagawe, 46 kilometres (29 mi) from Bontoc, 341 kilometres (212 mi) from Manila, 188 kilometres (117 mi) from Baguio, and 66 kilometres (41 mi) from Sagada.
