Augusto Jiménez Seminario was an agent of the Peruvian Amazon Company employed in the Putumayo River basin by Julio César Arana from 1903 to 1911, during the Putumayo genocide. His role in the genocide was investigated by Benjamin Saldana Rocca, Walter Ernest Hardenburg, Roger Casement, and two Peruvian judges in 1911.
