The Aspidoceratinae is a subfamily in the perisphictacean ammonite family, Aspidoceratidae found world wide in middle and upper Jurassic sediments. Aspidoceratinae differ from Peltoceratinae in that the early biplicate ribbed stage is lacking, or greatly reduced, and no forms with lappets are known.
