Aseptis pseudolichena is a moth of the family Noctuidae first described by Tomas Mustelin and Ronald Henley Leuschner in 2000. It is endemic to southern California, with records from San Diego, Riverside, Los Angeles, Ventura, San Bernardino, and Tuolumne counties. The habitat consists of open pine and oak forest, open areas with grass and scrub, and foothill chaparral. The wingspan is 30.5–36 mm. Adults are more yellowish than Aseptis lichena, as a result of a mixture of pale tan or yellowish s
