Arkady Aleksandrovich Tseytlin (Аркадий Александрович Цейтлин; born August 31, 1956, in Moscow) is a Soviet, Russian, and British theoretical physicist. He is one of the world's leading experts on superstring theory and the AdS/CFT correspondence. In 1974 Tseytlin matriculated at Moscow State University, where he graduated in 1979. From 1981 to 1984 he studied at the Lebedev Physical Institute, where he graduated with a doctorate in physics. His doctoral advisor was E. S. Fradkin. In 1984 Tseytl
