text: Archibald William Truman was an American physician, Seventh-day Adventist and vegetarianism activist. Truman was born in Mulvane, Kansas, he had 11 siblings. Truman was educated at Keene Industrial Academy and Battle Creek College, 1900–1904. He graduated in medicine at the University of Colorado in 1908.
