text: Pachyneurium is a section within the genus Anthurium. It is the largest section, containing the "birdsnest" Anthuriums. Plants of the section are terrestrial, with a rosette growth habit of dense, deeply rooted stems, and long lanceolate to oblanceolate leaves.
