Bishop A. B. Elliott was the second Bishop - in - Dornakal Diocese of the Church of South India succeeding V. S. Azariah as well as the second Bishop - in - Diocese of Krishna-Godavari. Elliott lived the life of a Catholic priest and never got married even though the institution of marriage was optional in the Anglican Church.
