Premiering February 5, 1938, with the life of Andrew Jackson, the show featured dramatic biographical profiles of such famed figures as Walt Whitman, Mark Twain, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Harriet Beecher Stowe.
