text: Allington is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England, about 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Amesbury and 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Salisbury. The parish includes the village of Boscombe; both villages are on the River Bourne and the A338 road. Most of the west boundary of the parish is also the county boundary with Hampshire.
