Allan Koury was a member of the House of Commons of Canada from 1988 to 1993. He was proprietor of business Mercerie Allan for 55 years, and created the Societes d'initiatives et de développement d'arteres commerciales (SIDAC), an association dedicated to commercial development. Koury was born in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec. He was elected in the 1988 federal election at the Hochelaga—Maisonneuve electoral district for the Progressive Conservative party.
