Alister Ford is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray and St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Ford, a Bairnsdale recruit, was a ruckman and key position forward. He kicked three goals on his league debut, against Collingwood at Victoria Park, aged just 17. He was never able to establish a place in the senior team, with his most productive year coming in 1983 when he made nine appearances, most in the second half of the season.
