Alhed Lübbers or Alhel Lübbers was the wife of the Governor of Danish India, Willem Leyel. Not much is known about Lübbers, except that she, a Dutch widow, married Captain Willem Leyel during his service in Batavia. Together, Lübbers and Leyel brought a daughter named Christina with her into the family and also had at least two sons, Hans and Anders Leyel. In 1647, Lübbers is mentioned as alive at Elsinore (Helsingør) in a letter from Hans Leyel to his father, Willem Leyel. However, Lübbers was
