Alexander Giannascoli, better known by his stage names Alex G or, formerly, (Sandy) Alex G, is an American musician, producer, and singer-songwriter. He started his career playing in multiple local bands before he decided to pursue his own music career as a soloist. At 18, he began to record his own music and released his first album under the name Sandy in 2010.
