Alan Joel Higgins is an American television writer and producer. Higgins was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and is the brother of actor David Anthony Higgins and Saturday Night Live assistant producer/The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon announcer Steve Higgins.
