Ahti Kõo is an Estonian lawyer, writer and former politician. He is a member of the August 20 Club which unites the members of Supreme Council of the Republic of Estonia who voted for the restoration of the independence of Estonia. Kõo graduated from Otepää Secondary School in 1970 and from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tartu in 1975. He then worked as a prosecutor in Tartu, Jõgeva and Pärnu.
