Şahtaxtı is a village and municipality in the Kangarli District of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. The village is located in the Sharur plain, 4.5 km south-west from the regional center. Its population engages in farming and animal husbandry. There are secondary school, kindergarten, cultural house and a medical center in the village. It has a population of 3,100.
