Adaka-Kurobashi Shell Midden The Adaka-Kurobashi Shell Midden is an archaeological site in what is now the Jonan neighborhood of the city of Kumamoto, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan with an pair of late Jōmon period shell midden. The site was designated a National Historic Site in 1980 by the Japanese government.
