Acacia balsamea, commonly known as balsam wattle, is a shrub of the genus Acacia and the subgenus Plurinerves. The rounded and infundibular shrub typically grows to a height of 1 to 2.5 metres. It had erect yellowish branchlets. The khaki green aromatic phyllodes are erect with a straight to shallowly curved shape with a length of 8 to 13 centimetres and a diameter of 1 to 1.2 millimetres.
