text: Acacia armillata is a tree of the genus Acacia and the subgenus Plurinerves that is endemic to north eastern Australia. It was first described in 1987 as Racosperma armillata by Leslie Pedley, but in 1990 he redescribed it as belonging to the Acacia genus.
