text: Aberdeen South is a burgh constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first-past-the-post system of election. The seat is currently held by Stephen Flynn of the Scottish National Party since the 2019 general election. Flynn has served as the leader of the SNP in the House of Commons since December 2022. The constituency was first used in the 1885 general election, but has undergone boundary changes since then. The
