Abdul Wahed Sarābi, is a former government minister and was one of the vice presidents of Mohammad Najibullah in Afghanistan. He was born in 1926 in Sarab valley, Ghazni. He worked as a lecturer in Kabul University. He was the minister of planning in the Kingdom of Afghanistan from 1969 to 1973. During the communist era of Afghanistan, he served in the Revolutionary council. After the elections of 1988, Sarābi was appointed as one of the vice presidents in May 1988.
